Yes. I'd report the money stolen and spark an investigation. Do you know how expensive it is to hide money like that? I'd spend more hiding it than I have in my account. They have good ways to log who gets in and out of accounts to where a proxy/vpn won't help you.

External transfers are tightly limited by financial institutions. The hack can't just initiate a transfer at will. The external account has to be verified and existing as an associated account.

Someone with my brokerage password could transfer all my money to MY bank account. As soon as he tried to send anything to HIS account, the system would NOPE that shit to oblivion.
