I searched online to try set up an account and kept hitting roadblocks. I can't remember specifically as it was a few years ago but not having a SSN was one of them so you might be good there... perhaps also needing a US postal address and/or US issued ID and a US issued visa (travel authorization)

I had to be physically present at the bank to get it done and they required my foreign passport and some other shit.
