Does your lunch time count as a work hour when you're a full time employee?
I've worked in two places before and I've never asked, I just always assumed it didn't. Now I'm filling a new e-timesheet thing and when I enter 8-5 its saying I worked 9 hours??
I know it differs, but I'd feel really retarded asking anyone after working having worked here for over a year now. I just want a feel for what the norm is.

At my shit wagecuck job you have to clock out for your lunch break. But I always take much longer than we're suppose to.

I think it varies by state, but usually...
You get 30 min for any 6hr shift, and 1hr for a 9hr shift, and it's supposed to be paid. Just call the DOL in your state and ask them what the rules are.

Do they require you to stay on their property?
If yes, they need to pay you for it.
If no, they dont have to and its not "work time"
I eat at my desk so technically I am working and getting paid. Gotta Jew the jews
Lmaoing at all the cucks that go out to lunch
Unless you're a contractor, an 8 hour day to me means 7 hours work plus one hour for lunch

>If yes, they need to pay you for it.

>not showing up at 9:30 and leaving at 4:00 with a 90 minute lunch

How much money did you need to start one?

As someone else said, check your local laws, but here in California, an employer is allowed to give you an unpaid lunch, so for me, I work 8-5 for 8 work hours and 1 meal hour

I get a 30 minute lunch break and that's it. I usually just eat 15 minutes take a 5 min shit then clock back in. so I steal that 10 extra minutes a day which really adds up if you think about it.
