I have a choice between Master of Financial Mathematics at HK University of Science and Technology or Master of Statistics at University of Hong Kong.

Thoughts?

Why can you only go to university in Hong Kong?

Three reasons combined:
1. Scholarship is for Asia only
2. Must be English taught since it's post grad (so only HK and Singapore really)
3. Singapore teaching dates don't match up with when I'll finish my honours but HK does.

Can engineers become quants I'm 3rd year engineer with a 3.7 so assume I have a 3.6 at a minimum and 2nd honours at a minimum.

I'm from NZ so I don't know how good a 3.7 is, we use 9.0 scale (A+ being 9, A being 8 etc). All of my courses since first year I got A+. Undergrad Math, honours year stats. If that helps.
