So, /biz/ .... how do institutional investors source real estate? Or, wealthy investors, for that matter?
I'm sitting on about 6 primo investment properties (in Europe, Krakow), and have barely a clue as to how to market internationally directly to buyers (without paying for advertising on 14,000 "list your property here" websites.
What do?
Put a sign on it like FOR SALE or FOR RENT
The customers or realty agents will come flocking

That might be good for local buyers, but local buyers (here in Poland) tend to offer rock-bottom offers. So I'm jonesting to target investors with deeper pockets -- overseas investors.

Real estate is local. Rich investors aren't going to put their money in some market that they don't know or pay to develop some property half-way across the globe. Even global real estate investment firms use local analysts and partner with local developers.
