Hey, biz is economics a meme major and I should stick with accounting or is there something to value in a Econ major
Economics can pass through on most of the same job applications you'd be considering with accounting anyway. Econ is probably the easier degree to get if that holds any value to you. It takes some of the autistic mental masturbation of math and sprinkles in turbotard sociology ideas. Nice balance

Thanks for the advice
Econ major here with one semester left. It's good if you plan on getting a masters, go to a top 25 school, or have good connections. Otherwise do accounting, MIS, or finance.
And if you do Econ, make sure to take econometrics.
Go Econ but man up and learn your math. I'm talking a BS and all math heavy electives. None of this supply and demand graph shit. I'm talking regression analysis.
I have a degree in economics. I had to get a master's in accounting to get a job. The econ degree is pretty much useless, job market wise, unless your school has developed a pipeline for the econ majors into banking or data analyst positions. Even then it's probably more competitive to get those positions versus accounting where anyone with a pulse who hits the CPA requirements seems to get an offer.
