quick question /biz/ - if i was to go around dropping off resumes to places to check if they are hiring, what are the best days/times and the worst days/times to do it?

Depends on the field. If you're looking for a restaurant gig for example, go right after lunch. They may be hungover from not having enough people on during lunch rush, and may interview you on the spot.

Your best bet is to go near closing time. They won't be busy with customers and the manager will just be hanging around checking that their employees are doing their final roles for the day correctly.
