I just turned 19 and I would like to have a little study break. My parents pushed me to have crazy grades and I urgently need a break from books before going to University.
That said, I am searching for relatively high-paying jobs anyone can get. A friend suggested planting trees in Canada (where I live) and after looking it up, it seems really great. Only issue s that it lasts only 3-4 months per year and it just finished.
Do you know other jobs I could look for ? A fishing boat ? Mines ?
Also, if you have personal stories to share, I would be happy to read them.
Thanks /biz/

as someone who decided to "take a break" after highschool - DONT.
Biggest mistake of my life. Decided I wanted to take a break from school and got a job to make some cash.
10 years later I'm still just working shitty jobs and have nothing past a highschool education. Why? Because once you become an adult life starts picking up and moving. If you don't decide to do college right away it is very easy to get swept away by the current and be trapped for the rest of your life.
It's slowly getting better for me now recently, but I've had to struggle like a motherfucker to do it.

anything can be a job as long as someone requires the services.
I mean, hell, Shillary is paying people to shitpost.
Don't take a break.
Worst decision of my life was taking a two year break because I didn't want to move away from my gf at the time. She left in the end anyway and I had nothing to show for it
Take a reduced class load of you want, but don't stop.
Your burnout might get better just by changing locations

Came here to say this. It's easy, once you start a "gap" in your education, to fall into complacency.
DON'T DO IT OP
