Hey guys! I'm going for my first job interview for my first possible job tomorrow. Any tips on how to get through it without fucking it up. It's and IT position.

>It's an IT position.
Honesty is usually a deal breaker unless you are very well socialized. Every question is a test to see if you are right for the position, don't give them any ammo to use against you. You are a team player, detail oriented, good at communication, punctual. You are not anon, you are a company asset. in 5 years you see yourself getting experience and growing with the right company. Your hobbies are normal and there is nothing good about strange answers. Workers are wanted not special gifted savants or creatives for most jobs.

Be honest.
If they ask your biggest weakness, tell them your biggest weakness. Dont lie.
>>1430737
Do NOT do this, tell them what they want to hear
>>1430737
Nope, don't do this. Give them some completely irrelevant ''weakness''
Like saying you're bad at public speaking
>>1430740
Does this carry on if I get the job? Do I have to be fake all the time?
>>1430737
Hahahaha
> "not good with deadlines", "not a people person", "lazy", "don't own Bitcoin".
>" sorry anon, we've decided to go forward with another candidate"

This is the way to go in this scenario. The only thing I would do is say some bs about how you're taking steps to improve yourself, like joining toast masters.
By not admitting you have faults or using a bs answer like you're a workaholic
you come off as shady / untrustworthy / narcissistic.
Having been on hundreds of interviews over the years I can tell you this: you will KNOW if you got the job right then and there.
