Has anyone else started watching this guy seriously after watching

He doesn't say anything wrong necessarily. But he isn't saying anything mind blowing.

The YouTube channel is more of a sales funnel to get you to buy his stuff.

There's reams of knowledge and life experiences in books in your public library that you can read for free.

He says very obvious things and tries to make it feel like it's some grandiose revelation. It's a siren sing designed to make you feel like you're intelligent because you're following along or making ridiculously superficial connections. You're never actually going to improve your life by listening to him.

If you spent your time, instead, on actually achieving your goals instead of pissing it away on watching retarded YouTube videos, you might actually become successful.

His tips may seem obvious and they are but following them is a good step forward: be optimistic, learn something new every day, don't be scared of failure, read alot of books, invest in yourself etc etc. Very good tips but not mindblowing.

He's smart and dispenses good advice, but nothing he says is groundbreaking.

Furthermore he's the classic self help guru who ultimately just wants to put desperate people's $ into his own pocket.

Buddy, I know its all vague bullshit but so is the majority of self-help book -they're motivation porn. I've read both the books you've listed and currently finishing a degree in econ/math. while investing all my student loans..

What I'm saying is he's good to extract little tidbits of info. For example he had a video the other week where he said what area of the face you should be looking at for each sort of conversation: forehead for business, nose for friendly, etc that I thought made sense. Sure his videos are 90% fluff and "here in my house in the hollywood hills", but I'm learning stuff just by having him in the background while I work.

That content I got to say is pretty mind blowing. It challenges the way you think and it's pretty legit. Each story is backed by solid logic and you sit there saying wtf to yourself after. It's got me thinking pretty different.

That's like saying you can make money by finding spare change by rummaging through garbage in the local landfield

He has some solid advice. A lot of it is just empty motivational stuff and worn-out platitudes.

I watch his videos because the context of some of them are hilarious to me. He'll be driving around in his lambo with a 10/10 model date in the passenger seat, and he's just holding his phone up and rambling on about reading fast or w/e, while the girl just sits there awkwardly. She'll try to get his attention diverted to something else, as if to tell him "put your phone up and pay attention to me."

There's another video where he does this, and he's got this awkward neckbeard looking friend with him, and through the whole video he's got the attitude like "jesus christ not this youtube shit again."

I imagine he impulsively pulls out his phone when in public/socializing to make a video, inconveniencing those around him. It must be pretty annoying to hang out with him.
