i always check it, but it doesn't really matter why it's moving as long as it is moving and you're just waiting to dump it. ideally, knowing a bit more will let you get out at the right time though.

With today's huge pullback in gold I would highly suggest buying today. Either in $ABX or $SLW I think are good bets. Macro issues like Italy and oil and gas companies going bankrupt will come back in light next week. Especially since a fed rate hike might be on the table. Don't be fooled by the good job report being good need for the medium term.
