>these two kids get couple contracts
>than get one big contract by low balling all the big guys

My question is where did they get the money to buy the arms? One of the contracts was $300 m where did they come up with this money? Was the DoD fronting the money i doubt it

I read the book. You can find the contracts on FedBizOps. He got the money through an American financier and got the deals from the financier's arms dealer friend

This was the government using middle men to get quick guns from black market arms dealers

It just seems crazy risky to want to finance such a transaction never mind to two pot head kids

Was the book worth the read or does the article cover everything?

It was mostly one of them, Efraim, and towards the end they hired a team.

In the beginning he scoured for financing just as much as he scoured FedBizOps. Remember, this money is essentially government insured

As for the arms dealer (where he landed the best deals) he was using Efraim just as much as Efraim was using him. He wanted an in on the US money.

Overall, this guy was big time. Besides the $300m Armenian deal, Efraim borough him nothing significant.

The guy used more people than just Efraim too, but Efraim was apparently the best at it. He was relentless in cutting deals. It goes to show the value of hustle and finding a lucrative niche. Being smart probably doesn't hurt
