If you know nothing about money, allocate portion of your money and spend on good books and read. And yeah, that is investing in yourself.
An investment in knowledge pays the best dividends - Benjamin Franklin (one of your America founding fathers)
ETF stocks (index funds) is not really a safe investment anymore, if the market goes down u are going to burn your money. 20k is small amount, but the % of market fall will have heave effect on you. If you don't even know what a ETF is, just put in banks enough said.
Don't listen to those on crypto, silver or how this x stock up 1000%.
Use common sense and math.. up 9000% but if u down 100% u are left with 0.
