>Just opened up an Google adsense account
What should I do and not do guis?
I don't wanna get banned like every1 else :( [sad face]
Unless your site gets a lot of traffic (10,000+ views per day)
or you join one of those groups where everyone clicks eachothers ads (Palringo I think?)
Then you ain't gonna make shit.
Posted this before, but my blog gets 500 hits a day and I make like $1.25 a month.

Shit
Alright is there a better ad rev placement?
I know everyone uses adcuck these days but old people still use the internet. My site is mainly for them.

Not sure what you're asking, but if it's about literally where to put the ads in the website layout go google some hot-spot tests, and see if they have any in your demographic. Older people I assume will scan a lot slower so you're probably best putting your advertising in the top left hand corner, like where you would start when reading a book.
Also like the other guy said, Adsense is NOT a money spinner. If you get a lot of genuine traffic you might make some gravy, but it'll never be a primary source of income if you're a one-man operation. That's why content farms are slowly dying.
enjoy your 5 cents a day profits
