When the going gets tough, strengthen yourself. Learn to take care of yourself first, and the first thing u should do is to improve yourself. Forget about girls first ok? U can wait for this, learn about delayed gratification.

Start improving yourself by saving your $ and buy books that can improve your life. You would want to read about self improvement (don't buy too many) and technical books. Self improvement books would help u in soft skills such as dealing with people, minding your own business, Zen-ning your mind (why the f would u be bothered with your lazy manager?) etc. Technical books would help u earn the $ u need in your job.

If u don't want to spend $ on physical books, tip: go to bookzz.org and download all the PDFs u want. Other sites to gain knowledge: coursera.org, alison.com, thegreatcoursesplus.com, bigdatauniversity.com (IT stuff), Khan academy, youtube etc. Some of them have materials from Ivy League, no excuse for u not to learn them.

Think about it. What separates between u and someone in Africa having trouble to fill his stomach everyday? Or between u and a MD of some major corp? It's - Knowledge.
