I'm saying that a growth of 97% isn't without risk or costs, and that you need to realistic that you aren't the only guy trying to bring his product to market. Some guys in my area are lucky if they make $15/hr after all is said and done.

You spend hours of your time on growing, weeding, measuring moisture and PH, trimming, curing, and finally hustling on the street.

All told I wouldn't be surprised if you spend 100hrs bringing your product to market.

Don't forget the cost of fertilizer, clones, gas, electricity in some cases, pesticides, tools, and incidentals.

Literally why? Its a plant that is easy to produce and it will probably become legalized for recreation within the next decade.
It would only be worth investing in an already established company that already has the agricultural equipment set up to run the industry. None of the little guys in places like Colorado are actually going to run the show when the drug becomes legal. Its probably going to be the tobacco companies rebranding their image, and putting hemp in their fields alongside the tobacco desu. They'll turn massive profits among the people who werent smart enough to grow their own weed.

Just be patient, legalization is going to happen federally in the next year. CGC, APH and OGI will all go to the moon before that happens.

You should check out the framework in place. Producers of marijuana currently need Health Canada approval to grow pharmaceutical grade pot (think sanitary). The current investors all are going under the assumption that these legal suppliers are going to supply the rec market as well. Most producers are getting more prescribed patients, and when rec. use hits, these companies will supply to a)liquor stores b)by mail. Now why would the government dissolve this framework as you say when it is very easy to tax a few LP's that have the government's entire arm up their ass? Fuck your hippy dippy free weed fields for all, that is definitely not how Canada does this kind of shit.
