I'm going towards a career in real estate, I want to be an agent. What are pro and cons? I live in Sacramento CA, I'm 24 and have someone good people skills. Is this career path shitty? Is it difficult to make money in? What are the type of who are successful in this business? Bossy, manipulative, obsessive people?
I don't know but I work in excavation and foundations and also interested in trying to Jew my way into sales I heard a license isn't hard to get
You're joining an industry that has 10 times too many agents. Most will be women that see you as a threat and will makeup false rumors and lie about you to destroy your reputation before its even created.

Why be a middleman?
It's a tough business, a lot of competition. Most of the money goes to the top 5% of agents that can market themselves well.
If you get into it, do not treat it as a job, you will fail. You must treat it like your own business, no one will care if you fail, so you must motivate yourself.
You'd have a serious advantage if you could build your own houses for cheap.
