My question now is: I have all this money i'm not spending. I already have 2K in mutual funds but i feel its shit.
Any notable stable dividend yielding stocks? any notable stable growing stocks?
i'm not familiar enough to go into shorts, options, forex, commodities, [%spoilers]nor altcoins[/%spoilers]

If it was that easy to reliably make money investing, everyone would do it.
And that was very much the case with index ETFs in the past few years, but those have run their coarse it seems as equity markets shed money.

Queen's alum here. Curious to know where you went. Most Universities in Canada are pretty damn good by international standards.
Regarding your question, check out a stock screener - any brokerage account you open should have an online tool for free. Don't come to this cesspool for guidance.

Mutual funds are outdated, overpriced shit. Drop them as fast as possible and open a self directed trading account tied to a TFSA and fill it with ETF's of whatever flavor you desire.

Concordia's JMSB. Had poor grades (just below 3), but charismatic. Never had a "real" job before so my resume was poluted with resto/cafeeshops/painting jobs. No internships. No contacts.
I have a lot of extraculicular activities. It saved me tbqh as they looked at these as references (case competitions, boy scout leader, community worker).
The job is for the government so i guess they were looking for humble role models
