What do you have to lose, time? Time you could have been shitposting about shekels on 4chan?

Just do it and see how it is for yourself.

As for using it on a resume, it's a non-credit course and will say so on your diploma so I wouldn't bother. Use it to gain skills, not pieces of paper with your name on it.
