Had literally all morning to get some kind of profit unless you went in when it was way high yesterday. I'd say at this point just sit on it through the weekend. Here's the IRS requirement to be considered a day trader vs an investor:

I am looking to get started with stock trading, would Robin hood be a good option?

They don't have per-trade commissions, right? I guess that is a good thing for me since I only want to put in a couple hundred bucks to play around with.

When I was younger, I used to trade on those "paper money" online trading sites, and did reasonably well. Could you guys recommend me any books or online resources to get started with stock trading (NOT long-term investing)?
