help, /biz/
>went to interview last Friday at 11 am to video game company
>HR said she will email me next week and to email her if I have any questions
>sent thank you email that day in the afternoon
>sent followup email with questions this Wednesday at 1 pm
>BUT FORGOT TO ADD SUBJECT LINE :(
>Friday is day off since it's Canada day
What do?
Should I resent the email again but with subject line?
Apologize that I sent that by mistake?
Did it go to her spam folder?
Should I wait to email her?
Why isn't she emailing me.... 5 hours left today, it's the end of week...
I'm desperate for this job.
/biz/ please advise!
guys?
First of all this is a slow board, you don't need to bump.
Most HR people are flooded with emails and even if it did have a subject, it's common to skip them.
If it's critical questions you need answers to ASAP, just call her. Otherwise just chill the fuck out and send the email again after a week.

thanks anon
I'll try next week, Wednesday is good?

Relax
It's only a subject line, unless she's a complete cunt, it won't be an issue.
HR people, in my experience, tend to be lazy and stupid, so don't expect a quick followup, just be patient and hold your spaghetti ffs

I'm worried it went to her spam folder
Tho she uses company email and not gmail
so maybe it will be alright
>>1350172
Unlikely unless you included something retarded in the subject line, like all caps, or 'purchase' or 'viagra' or something.
And they almost definitely use gmail, probably just with a custom domain on it.
Sauce: I essentially spam people for a living
ive never heard back any time i've "followed up". last job follows:
>day 5403 of job search
>spot newly posted
>apply
>get call two hours later
>interview 2 days later
>decide to send a "follow up" email in a day or so
>get call back before then
>go for second interview, at a bar/restaurant. meet everyone else the dept
>get called in for a fucking THIRD interview
>show up, meet office manager
>he's busy and just tells me i'm hired, fill out this shit and give to accounting lady
if theyre in a hurry, like most businesses are, they seem to be quick to respond if interested.

Relax. Handle your job searching correspondance like you would handle normal business.

It's cool, I've been there, seems like every comma could potentially ruin your chances when applying for jobs.
In reality, it's probably the HR dickhead just watching cat videos.

Totally,
Actually after the phone interview, she said come to interview on Friday 11 am but it';s not confirmed yet, i will email you today the confirmation. She didn't. I sent an email next day asking if it's confirmed. She said "thanks for you note, yes it's confirmed"
Hmmm...
OP here,
So I just got an email from her
"Thanks for following up! I wanted to touch base on the role - we're still in the midst of interviewing at this time and will have further clarity next week."
So does it mean I fucked up?
Is there still hope or this is it...?
They did't like me?
Btw they had job posted for over a month now.
Should I forget about them and move on? Sad..
>>1350138
too soon, chill, wait till thursday.
>>1350575
should I followup again next Thursday? Or wait till next Monday?
thx
