I don't get it. Why are there anons who think this coin

Crypto/fin-tech are poised to explode. Fiat gateways are going to be in demand. If these Russians can get their shit together the payout could be huge. Besides the fundamentals whales have been playing the Bittrex market like a fiddle. At some point there is bound to be a massive pump.

One of the very few promising new coins. But I didn't buy into the ICO though.

sure but why this coin? other than shilling/pumping action? does it do anything like ethereum or is it just another blockchain bitcoin copy like doge?

lisk even does something as it offers sidechain solutions so you can run your program off the blockchains and have it connect pretty seamlessly with lisk tokens. but waves (presumably) and a buncha other ones are just trash.
