Is it realistic to expect to earn 50,000 EUR (56000~ USD) per annum in 5 years of graduating college? If so, what area/subjects are most likely to reach this amount, excluding medicine and subjects that are more based on the prestige of the university attended (i.e. law).
I'm having a hard time choosing between engineering, computer science, or pharmacology (chemistry). My primary motivation is money, stupid as that may sound.
Yup. I'm doing pharmacy and starting pay is $80,000/year in big cities and $110,000/year in small cities. I'm in Canada though.

That's crazy. Here (Ireland) it's only 5 years. In fact, medicine also has the option for 5 years provided you did chem/bio/phys in high school (with good grades).

Not sure. It was 5 for me by they changed the entire system so it's minimum 6 now. Wouldn't recommend it though, work is stressful and you don't use a lot of what you learned. Also pharmacy is different from pharmacology.
