The media just looks for any excuse to attribute to a rich person's success. In reality it's mostly attributable to being in the right place with the right mind at the right time, and luck.

Personally I'm not one of those people (few people here are). I'm a wageslave who will keep investing into a bunch of ETFs & mutual funds to hopefully reach a million within the next 15 years.

It honestly sounds like you had the opinion before you researched, and then you let confirmation bias kick in, and then subconsciously created focal points on young success.
Spoiler alert; Most people can jerk their pass off in some way when they reach success. Having a good image helps. I mean, fuck, I can claim I made my first business and hired friends at like, 10? and that I made games at 13.
