Thanks, but I don't believe only being a chemical engineer i would get an internship. Could you recommend what to study in order to get that internship?

You don't need experience in Finance as long as you have a quantitative degree, which you do.

ChemE is known the be one of the most difficult, if not the most difficult Engineering. This is coming from a CompE. Investment banking, trading, quant trading and quantitative analysis loves engineers. Getting an engineering degree is WAY better than getting a degree in finance or accounting or econ.

After (I think) 4 years working in finance you can start to get your CFA.

Try get some experience, even offer to work for free (I did that in first year uni) at financial firms so that way banks and what not take you seriously when you say you are interested in finance.
