>apply to hundreds of programming/IT internships
>have several interviews but don't land a job.
>get customer support job thats 12.50 an hour and pays 7500 to you per semester for you to go to school
How much am I going to hate my life? I transfered so the coursework that would have helped me land an internship all lands next year, my senior year.
I'm really fucking bummed I didn't land an internship but this company does have programming jobs I could eventually get once I graduate.
So /biz/, is this year of customer support going to kill me?

That really sucks dude, it's also really weird. Because there should be a lot of programming interships.
What did you put on your resume?
>>1272674
don't put customer support on your resume when you apply for real jobs m8

What languages and how good are you?
Wow, there were nowhere near that many internships available when I was in college.
Anyway, my brother basically went that route. Couldn't find a programming job anywhere so he did call center work for student loans. Eventually a position opened up for him to transfer to. I think he didn't mind the call center work (it was threatening people in default) but he kept trying to find a real job. So don't get complacent.
