I want to get a few hundred grand as fast as possible (preferably in 5 years) so I can quit jobs and start investing.
Best way to do this?

>five years
Literally live with your mom and make 45 thousand a year you massive fucking plebs.

best plan. it's not work if you're just staying their with some suction pressure

This. Also get a job in a factory. Theyre throwing away treated wood you can claim for free.
step three: build a little fuckshack in the garden and live in it while trading ETFs
>>1263893
get a loan or credit or write off money from the bank or just work hard and save a little money and do forecast investing
You won't be able to quit your job with just 100k in the bank, sempai.

Where are you at in life right now OP

I work as a contracted janitor and make 35 grand a year, tho most of it goes to family in rent. Id haggle my rent and utilities down to 300/month once they finish their mortgage.
Ive always wanted to study finance, but my community college grades are shit so itd still be 4 full years to get the major.
I wanna just stockpile 300 grand and agressivelly invest, but at my rate of retention id be 40 by the time I had that much and id be forced to play it safe.

Negotiate contracts for other places, hire other janitors, take cut. repeat until the whole world is a janitor working for you. Become the Uber for janitors.
I make 170k a year and there's no way i could make this much if i didn't have a job
Once you go higher income you never go back
>>1264202
If you're a janitor who can't hack community college, investing your own finances is probably a poor life decision.

I agree with this guy.
I make $450k a year and there's no way I would make this if i didn't have a job either.

>implying investing does not start at the first dollar
