amazon brick and mortars are book stores. and no one uses their microstorage locker.

Book value is good but the company seems short on cash. Lot of goodwill also so they probably overpay for any acquisitions. Also poor growth. If you are going to buy then wait until it gets beat up a lot more.

Seems like piss poor management. Lack of consistency with stores... I can get the same experience most of the time at Kroger, Costco, Target, etc. Walmart is 20% nice stores and 80% shit shows. They're falling behind on ecommerce and trying to catch up to current trends while falling behind in innovation.

Their only redeeming feature is that their supply chain is crazy, it's the gold standard and is highly studied and used as an example in universities.

I've seen ideas thrown around about how Walmart could do 1 day delivery with their logistics but I feel they'll need to focus on cleaning up their internal system and establishing a stronger ecommerce presence before they go pursuing new routes.

They generate a lot of cash but it looks like they won't see any growth for awhile and they're not the strongest value play out there.
