Or look for a card that does reward points, and if you use it enough maybe in a year or two you'll have saved up a free flight.

Dont use your credit card for fun.
Use it for simple every day shit that you are going to pay off anyway, and have it for emergencies.

15% would be really low for someone without established credit. In fact, that's low for someone with good credit. Your average credit card is gonna run between 15 and 25% APR.

That said, you should never carry a fucking balance on a credit card ever unless you're a complete fucking idiot. Don't pay for things you can't buy right now with cash. It's just... it's fucking mind boggling to me, that people can't figure that out. God damn I hate people.

there is a mastercard that has 3% cashback for groceries and 5% seasonal but pretty steep annual cost. if you spend a lot it's worth it. i'm applying for it see what it looks like in a year.
