School doesn't offer CS, would if i could. Also in a program where i can do 3 years at a CC then switch to Accounting. Business Admin, or CIS essentially only paying for one year of uni
Is CS really that much better? Most jobs just ask for CS/related degree, CIS sounds related. Plus you don't learn to really program in any uni course. I figure if I learn to code on my own time throughout uni, I'll be straight.
Should I take one of the two other majors or just drop out and learn to program on my own time? Any success stories from you guys about not having a degree and getting a good gig as a software developer?
CS is a branch of mathematics. It's much more than just programming. It had a very wide scope. CIS is more of an IT style degree. Granted many CS degrees end up doing IT. CS opens the door to a wider range of careers.

CS is shit. Learn a real major.

If your intent is to go into software development, why are you going to a school with no CS? It just doesn't make sense. You know you can change schools, right?

Unless you live in India there is literally no excuse going to college for computer science and related autism majors
Major in finance

Why do you say this? And I'm aware unless you go into hedge fund/investment banking, it's better to just do accounting. I've seen "finance" jobs preferring a cpa
On another note, since accounting is actually the major I'm in right now, will it be automated? Or just made easier
All of that shit is life ruining unless you are an autist.

Okay, what do you recommend then?
all I will say is don't go to a CC.
it's a trap. It saves money yes, but it's a trap
cc's are actully harder then undergrad Gen Ed and at a 4 year, plus you won't be around real college stuff, which helps you pick a major
Enjoy competing with poo in loos, women and other shitskins when you graduate
Remember, the company has to have plenty of non white males, of they get fined and fucked into next century
Lol why do you fags even bother

Don't kid yourself pal, if your finance degree isn't a master's from an ivy then it's almost useless.

OP if you're an undergrad do not get a finance degree, that is very dangerous. I suggest switching to CS. Yes it's a meme degree, it's very very easy but in very very high demand.
