I'd say the market will drop hard into early June to late June, rally in July/August and then drop hard again sometime after August.

The crazy election circus this year might make things a little haywire late in the year, especially if it becomes contested or some other insanity happens. Prior year 8 of Presidential cycles (e.g. 2000 after 8 years of Clinton, and 2008 after 8 years of Bush) have been down pretty hard.

However, I think even if the US markets suffer a 10-30% correction, they should rebound quickly, mostly because much of the rest of the world is an even bigger basket case than the US, so at some point, if the political/economic situation in Europe continues to worsen (migrant crisis, Brexit, German bank issues, etc.) then a lot of nervous Euro money might make it's way to the US stock market/US dollar as the safest haven in a world with very shitty and unsafe investing options.
