FAQs
> How is it free?
They invest your unsettled funds after a trade.
It's also pretty basic software.

> When is it coming to my country?
Probably never. They only have plans on an Australian beta ( https://robinhood.com/au/).

> It's been X days, why isn't my account isn't verified yet?
If it takes more than 3 days, try emailing their support. They are very good.

> Is this the right place to pump and dump and/or shill a worthless stock?
No, please go to Stocktwits, Plebbit, or one of our many chat groups.

> What's a good penny stock to invest in?
Don't buy penny stocks you cum guzzling mouth breathing retard.

> I hit sell when the stock was X.XX, but it actually sold at a lower price, am I being jewed?
No, that would actually be illegal. Robinhood graphs are just shit and only show you an average, not-really-realtime price. To get Bid/Ask prices and important things like candlestick graphs, you should use a more robust platform.

> Where can I get better charting or bid/ask?
thinkorswim is bretty gud if you want to go open a second account with real broker.
Otherwise you should be using Yahoo/Google finance or even Stocktwits for your graphing in addition to Robinhood.

2 very promising phase 1b and 2a trials.
Fda approval seems likely in my eyes, no confirmedbdate.
Once we move from 2a to 2b, we'llrecieve huge boosts, and again all the way until stage 4 (fda approval).
Jump on now, they might dop, but nothing is for certain.

I am planning on using about 1k in robinhood, but I had a question or two. Does anyone have any problems with withdrawing money or is it pretty reliable? Do you use a separate program to watch real time stock prices since rh is less exact? Does your stock sell for what rh says or what the exact price is at the moment you hit sell?

Thanks for any replies

Question to all: How is Robinhood working compared to about 1 year ago (or even 6 months ago)?

Does it have stop losses, trailing stops, etc? I see Robinhood Instant exists which is a decent improvement.

But it still seems limited compared to even Sogotrade (which has trailing stops, margin accounts, short selling, options, etc).

70% of the reason I trade is to short sell or put a few hundred on OTM options. So maybe I'll stay with Sogo

>>1209145
I've only been on it since December but as far as I can tell, it's still the same. It has Stop Losses, and margin trading if you have 25k in your account, but that's really all.
>>
>>1209148
I'm hoping it gets around .60 by may 20th. I've read multiple estimates of $1 by late summer.

You only need to report realized gains which will be taxed at short-term capital gains and you can deduct realized losses up to the amount of gain. Same as with a broker. If you're holding, that's unrealized and not reported.

I'm just saying keep an eye on it. Maybe not Monday but I think, if you can see trends pretty well, I'd look to buy on it's low (whether that be today or Monday or whatever). It should* be going back up next week.

I'd say just keep an eye on it

Any news on Australian release date? Want to get into stocks but commission here is killing me.

So Ugaz is up abnormally high. I've read that this is due to a somewhat cooler summer forecasted and also because increased usage of nat gas as a power source. This being said I still think it's a good time to buy Dgaz. Production of natural gas is still being ramped up and I think the states that have it can't agree on terms to really effectively price control. Any1 got any opinions on nat gas prices?

ARWR

The technology solves the challenges to date with finding targets of T cell response.
GEN-003 -
Lead candidate in genital herpes. Protein subunit T cell-enabled therapeutic vaccine, or immunotherapy
designed to reduce the duration and severity of clinical symptoms associated with moderate to severe
genital herpes, and to control transmission of the infection. Currently in Phase 2 of its clinical trials.
If approved, Genocea believes it will be the first therapeutic vaccine to address genital herpes - or any
infectious diesase.
Great recent mid-stage results sent this stock flying.
GEN-004 -
Novel T cell vaccine developed from Genocea's ATLAS technology. It is aimed at preventing
colonization of the upper airway by all serotypes of pneumococcus. It is designed to provide protection
against eah of the more than 90 serotypes of pneumococcus, therby offering potentially universal
protection against pneumococcal disease.
Pending further review of the data and potential paths forward, Genocea has suspended development
of GEN-004.

How does after hours trading work?
>>
>>1214692
it doesn't
>>
>>1214692
it works just like normal except the volume is much lower and the spreads are much higher because theres less people active

you need a broker that offers after-hours trading to take part (robinhood does not operate outside of market hours)
>>
>>1214739
So if I buy a stock and it goes up in value on after hours trading, does that value stay the same at the start of the opening bell the next day?
>>
>>1214746
the 'value' of a stock is whatever you can sell it for at this exact moment

most likely yes if a stock goes up after hours people will be using that new price at the start of the day

but not necessarily, people can drive the price up after hours and then at market open it comes 'crashing' back down to where it was at close

Yeah. They've cut down 77.6% of their waste fluid disposal costs which is remarkable. I'd say buy in now before it takes off in a month or so. I can't foresee it being this low for that long. The only drawback is, while they don't have any debt, they're incurring fairly substantial losses. I can assume that's possibly why the stock hasn't seen much activity. Once they break out over .29, it's to the moon.
