I want to set up a specialised spice business and grow my own products for export.
How do I go about establishing my credibility as an organic producer? I've heard of "USDA Organic", but I don't know if there's an international standard I could meet, or how a smalltimer could get such a certification.
What sort of customs problems could I face? I'd guess most packages would be under a kilogram, no bulk stuff, very little moisture if any.
I reckon you'd be selling well under a kilo packages, more like 100g.

Some roots can be quite heavy.
I don't, since I'm still in the planning stages.
It will most likely be a shelf system like in the pic, but indoors, and with the aid of electric growlights.
