I've been saving about $1,000 a month since I started working at 18. 22 now.

75% VOO (save and buy once a year to save commission costs)
5% savings account
10% education fund for my 2 year old niece (doubt I'll ever have kids and Brother is retarded with money)
10% to speculate/trade with
