What's a good broker for trading /biz/?

I only know about scottrade and tradestaion and fidelity and I don't know anything about any of them.

I'm looking for low costs and as close to DMA updates and charts as possible, and of course instantaneous closure and clearing of trades. Also I'm looking for security, any personal excperince with your broker you would like to share?

Most of biz will tell you Robinhood

I use traveling. Their bid/ask is shitty, but commissions are only 4.95. Their charts have everything you need, but might take some set up to be easier to use.

robinhood seems like incomplete barginware that might cause more headaches than it elevates

what's it called? just "traveling"?

Dude my bad. I meant TradeKing, NOT traveling.

Lowest commissions I've found so far. Plus you can get margin pretty easily if you're into that thing.

Ive used Fidelity and TDAmeritrade since way back before there were things like Robin Hood.

I much prefer Fidelity. I like their site layout and security information (can access all sorts of analyst reports and stuff) so ive stuck with them. Trades are $7.95. But unless your only trading a fee hundred bucks at a time, trade ccost doesn't really matter.

I'm sure those more mainstream sites have a smoother GUI than what I'm working with. I can only have one chart open at a time, which defaults to fucking Apple every time I load it (which isn't even in my watchlist).

Pisses me off. Plus they cut my margin on UWTI and DWTI, but haven't done anything to SCO and UCO despite the similar volatility. They give me my money the next day though so really not too many complaints

Sorry for the ramble, kinda dickered.

Interactive Brokers is the only choice.

I use tda but it's not low cost. Completely worth it though.
