I'm thinking about getting another master's degree. This time in finance (MSF) soon at the same university I got my first master's. The job market for my master's in physical engineering (PE) is improving; however, I ended up getting blacklisted due to subpar performances and burnt a bridge with my adviser in MPE a month before I graduated. The adviser refused to talk to me and badmouth my name in the profession. My classmates have refused to even talk to me since graduation. I have a stellar resume and cover letter, but I have not gotten a single interview.
Is this worth it? I can bankroll this degree, but I plan to take out student loans since the starting salaries pay well after graduation especially a year or two when earn my CFA, work at a boutique firm, and then move up for a transnational bank.

You sound like a bullshitter and a liar. There is something you're not telling us. And if you're so anti-social you get the cold shoulder from engineers I doubt you'll do well in finance.
