Nope, that is probably a good thing. Not the best thing you could have said, but definitely not the worst.
When employers take on engineers, they don't want someone who has absolutely no experience in the other disciplines, since 95% of engineering jobs require collaboration between all sorts of engineers. If you understand even the basics of circuitry, then that means a lot less time spent explaining that shit to you and a lot more time getting stuff done.
