sup /biz/ first time poster and lurker here, gonna be asking a question everyone I'm sure asks on here, I've been working non stop dead end jobs for the past 7 years of my life and got nothing to show for it except for a somewhat small stock portfolio, I'm sick of being broke all the time, sick of not being able to pay rent and pay for food, fuck this, i dont care if its a risk, but I have about 10k in stocks that I dont touch for steady growth, but Ive got 4k saved from all the shitty work Ive done, is it possible if I'm quick and lucky enough, that I can turn that 4k into something way bigger in the market? Im down to just dump it all in there to try and make something for myself, and obviously it wont happen for a few years of trading on and off, but my first move was gonna be buying stock Philip Morris, I hear theyve got a huge advertising bout for if/when weed gets legalized, and if it does, I wanna try to have stock in it.
What do you think? is it even worth a shot, Im not exaggerating when I say Im sick of this, it's either this or I buy 4k of heroin and have a jolly hootin' time OD'ing
