Can /biz/ recommend me a business related movie? Like The big short, zeitgeist or wolf of wall street?
Schindler's List

I liked Margin Call, the acting was great with a great staff.

>zeitgeist
>business based
Dude, i liked zeitgeist so much i paid $5 for a DVD of it to be shipped to me in the mail, but the amount that it taught me about business could be written on the back of the postage stamp stuck to the envelope it came in.

There is plenty of banker porn books out there.
>>1072709
The international.
>>1072702
>zeitgeist
lol zeitgeist can't even get religious information right (most of their pro-atheism stuff is bullshit) I wouldn't trust their business opinion at all
>>1073170
>being religious
Am I the only one that didn't like the big short?
Fukin movie actually has to explain itself to the audience. It was super fukin cringey and was insulting.

Well most people don't understand anything about finance.
Kind of like how in margin call how the most senior guy in the room would ask "explain to me in the simpleet terms" so it made th audience understand what's happening

Boiler Room
American Psycho.
I just like watching people be rich.
Chasing Madoff
>>1073186
The technical stuff had to be explained, but the way they did it was kind of ham fisted.
Barbarians at the gate
Movie is ok
The book is awesome

>wanting disinformation so you feel good about your fedora
>>1072702
wall street : money never sleeps
margin call
nightcrawler(?)
there will be blood
the pursuit of happiness(?)
>>1073186
Most people didn't understand that stuff and I thought it explained it well but yeah it was kinda forced and hard to keep track of at times, I thought the acting was really good though
>>1072730
It was one of those movies where, more than once, you think its about to end, but it keeps going on.
Glengarry Glen Ross, Wall Street, Rogue Trader, Boiler Room, The Wolf of Wall Street, Wall Street 2, Margin Call, Too Big to Fail, the smartest guys in the room
Moneyball

Refuse to watch it. Can't stand the propaganda of US Banker fraud. As if everyone isn't liable for some blame in the shenanigans of 08
>>1073141
What the literal fuck are you talking about?
>>1074297
It's very popular in Japan.
>>1074124
Most underrated post in entire thread
>>1073131
Kek, couldn't agree with you more.
>>1073904
Nightcrawler? Good movie but not much to do with biz.
>>1073175
The Holy See is the wealthiest corporate entity on earth today and for the last 1000 years. No one is allowed to make a movie about this, even though it might be purdy good, it's what Voltaire was talking about with the who rules over you thing.
The Money Masters documentary was sorta neat, 3 hours without mention of it either, oh well, what can you do. They don't call TV an idiot box without a good reason.

>Glengarry Glen Ross
Was well done.
