I am thinking about starting a roth IRA through Vanguard. I graduated recently from uni. I am thinking about $5,500 annually. Is this a good idea to save up for money in retirement?

Yes, low fees, great selection of etfs. Fees really build up and cut into returns over 30 years. Do it faggot. The earlier you start saving and start compounding returns, the much better off you'll be when you're old and sickly.
