Tips landing a job?
How do I go on about landing a job even as an office assistant? I am 24 and only legit work experience I have is being a farm hand for 2 months, other than that, been doing various farm for for the past 8 or so years helping a friend and getting paid cash. I did things like watched over contractors and their workers and checked if everything was working properly and fixed sprinklers and such. I also do freelance graphic design on my free time. I just feel like I have been wasting time not pursuing a proper career. I want to get into advertising/ marketing.

I would start by sending an application.

I have been job hunting for almost 3 months now. Running out of funds, but luckily I moved back in with the parents a while back. I just want to land a decent 9 to 5 job and then seek internships relating to advertising/graphic design.

lie about your resume/qualifications, what do you have to lose? Make that part time work look full time. Talk about all those things you did that made you incredibly detail oriented, organized, etc etc etc. And sacrifice a bull to the gods for luck.

What educational credentials do you have?

High school diploma and only went to a community college for one year to try and get an AA in Graphics Design, but it seemed like a waste of time so I left, which I see now that I should have just finished.
