>friend is interested in commodities
>I read up and get in to it as well
>do a teaser run and buy 200$ worth of cotton
>it actually profits me $900.
>fuck yeah this is cool
>reinvest on his choices
>lose all
>it move on, fun while it lasted
Now I'm realising that I may have been on to something. I'm well aware of the fact most don't hit and that first one was beginners luck.. but I'm very patient and am really interested in doing this for my self with out him
>is commodities worth it?
>do you know anyone who made money with them?
>why don't I hear about it more? Is it cause people want instant gratification and can't wait for 5 month contracts?
How long did it take to make 700?

Honestly not totally sure. A few months. It was only one unit of cotton. We were as new as you could be.
How do you invest in commodities? I'm assuming you didn't go to some farmer and ask for $200 of his finest cotton then flip it for $900.
I would stay the fuck out of commodities. You basically have to have balls of steel and the conviction to risk everything on your analysis.

yeah that doesn't sound logical. I picture in my mind its all stockpiles in warehouses and people just circle-jerk online with each other about how much it costs.
