Does anybody have any experience with PayPal Debit Card? Is it true that PayPal gives you 1% back on every purchase you make using this card?

Bump.
Curious myself, as mine is on the way soon.
so if you get 1% back per purchase I could spend $100 every time and get 100% back??
I don't have this particular card, but 1% back on every purchase is not the greatest deal. Lots of cards do 2.5% cashback, Discover sometimes does periodic 5% cashback, and Amazon store card gives 5% back on purchases.

You would get $1 back every time
Both discover and Chase are 5% but discover has double that on the year, so 10% on categories.
Citidoublecash on everything
or cap1 Venture Double Miles is as low As I go.
With such an incentive system debit cards are useless once you have sufficient credit.

How does credit render such debit cards useless?
Isn't it preferable to receive the same cash back for a direct transaction rather than one which can be charged interest?
What's the incentive for them to give you money back when you purchase stuff?
Many times I have had issues just using it as a regular debit card with > $1k balance.
PayPal is tribe bullshit. Fuck you Elon, and fuck your space BS

More people using their services making them more money

More people using this service, while it does look good, it does come with a pretty high interest rate. For the first few months, the interest rate doesn't effect you, you get comfortable, let your credit account go over slightly for a few months, then BAM! 25% interest rate on that left over credit, and the bank is making profit baby!
