The sith shown are almost all barbaric, violent, and remorseless. The jedi are shown as moral police who do very little and believe their opinions are the ultimate in authority...because they also have power.
The entire game, Kreia doesn't want you picking a side. She wants you to learn through her mistakes, and to redpill you on the """war""" going on between both sides of the force and how it affects you. Especially because you choose a side in the force by leeching off of people. Either literally (violence, theft, coercion), or figuratively ("give a man a fish, not a fishing rod" solutions in which you gain experience but they're left clueless the entire time). She wants you to be above that. To use your wound to kill the force.

Of course I could be wrong. I haven't played it in years but I've completed it at least 8 times.
