Help medfags, my iced tea is pasteurized and it sat out on the counter all night. Can I get sick? What's the reason for the printing saying to keep it in a refrigerator?

probably because of all the sugar in it, it will start to ferment and turn into prison wine

You run the risk of getting deathly Ill if you drink it now.
Let this serve as a lesson and get a new one.
MAKE SURE YOU REFRIGERATE THIS TIME!!

Its tea bro... It'll probably separate if it sits out or just go stale. Either way tea out of a jug is not the way to go.

These guys are sorta right.
the sugar and tea separate and start to promote deadly Bactria growth but it's not exactly instant, you may not get sick if you drink it, mostly depends on your immune system I guess

The sugar will ferment if you leave it sit out. Brewing your own tea is loads better than buying that premade sugar trash. Stuff like Snapple and Arizona have 20+ grams of sugar in just 10 or so ounces, almost as bad as soda.
the pasteurization would've killed some of the bacteria but to be safe i would add a cocktail of ammonia and bleach to stop any growths

never lose your edgey /b/
Experience?
I was thirteen and thought it'd be cool to just drink some iced tea sitting out for a day,
motherfucking spent a week at home begging for death due to high fever and super congested nose.

Ice tea goes moldy.
This is why you don't leave it out.

yep, so easy as well. Few grams of tea in cold water overnight, filter the leaves and put in the blender with fruit. fuck the popo
