While I dont think the show is too bad up to before the most recent season, and though I've only seen seasons 1&2, I completely agree with that statement. All my friends who worship the show are borderline neets who work, get high, play video games or gamble. They can talk for HOURS about theories and what they believe the characters intentions were and shit.
The ironic part is most of them play DND and we'll, but never come up with their own campaigns. If they used ever a quarter of their conversation toward their own worlds and characters, they could probably make a halfway compelling campaign. Yet, I watch none of the show and make a decent campaign every couple of months.
Wasted time and effort. The show is a SOAP for neets and 'nerdy' for casuals to think they're smarter or more interesting by watching it.
