This is my first heartbreak
>be me, freshman, new high school and 6/10 beta as fuck had no friends
>be in a biology class
>see fellow 6/10 but to me she looks like a 10/10
>walk over and start talking to her, holy crap she's kind of cool, and notice on her bag a piplup button
>ask her do you like Pokémon, she says hell yeah and tells me she likes vidya games
>we start to become friends and continually chat during the year
>in December there was a school sponsored ice skating event so I ask olivia to it and she says yes
>we went there and it cost $3.25, so I paid for both of us with a 10 and gave her the change
>we have a good time there me and her and are actually having fun, we almost had a moment but nothing happened between us happened there and I was afraid she didn't have the same feeling I had for her
>fast forward a few month and she starts to seem distant, she had a girl group of friends
>I made a group of friends during the year and I haven't talked to her much since the ice skating rink
>i decide to ask her out on a date to the summer dance and the night before am getting ready
>I walk by an arch where her and her friends usually are and I wait for her, I see her and I go up to her with a bouquet of flowers and ask her out
>suddenly I am flung back with the force of a mighty fin
>I realize that she hit me with her scaly fin and that she actually was a 10 foot long creature from the Paleozoic Era
>the fuck I scream
>then I remember, the ice skating date cost $3.25 for both of us, I paid with a 10
>3.25x2 is $6.50, and I gave her the change which was $3.50
>the goddamn Loch Ness Monster made me have a crush on her just so it could get about tree fiddy
