It's in PA, haven't seen him since I was 9 so not sure. And as far as proof, after I was adopted by my stepfather I went to a shrink that repressed my memories of the whole thing. A couple years ago my mom and I got into an argument over it and she said something that triggered the memories to come back. They come back in little bits every so often.

You'd be asking a lawyer to do a lot of work & reaserch for very little pay. If your dad owns a house, a car and a decent bank account it would be worth it to co to civil court and get money. Criminal court would send his broke ass to jail.

Of course all of this is if you have solid proof, like a hospital bill from when he beat you. Psych reports from sexual abuse, etc. Otherwise it's your word against his and his defense lawyer can say you are out for money in a civil case.

The more documentation you have, the better the case/chances of getting a monetary award. From a criminal standpoint you might not be the only one that he abused.
