Little bit of rant, bare with me... you would rant to if you found the shit I found on youtube a minute ago...

What is it with all the little shits in youtube comment section who say honda asimo is more advanced than any other robot?!

These people have no common sense!

Boston dynamics creates robots such as pic related, atlas, that can remain balanced when pushed and kicked, and even when walking on natural terrain. The honda asimo would certainly fall over if pushed and can't walk natural terrain!

How can people find a cute marketing scheme to be more important than a robots actuall abilities? Do we really need to educate the masses on what a good robot looks like?

(I'm pretty sure there are companies out there who have more advanced robots than boston dynamics, but just aren't as expressive about their shit.)
