No, because in order to play them they need to be activated first. Let's say you want to copy a game over to another PC, or you have reinstalled your Windows. You would have to connect to your account again, because simply copying files over doesn't work.
Meanwhile with GOG you can just download the installers, store them locally and install them whenever, and whereever the fuck you want with NO dependencies whatsoever. You steam users are fucking tools.

Really you only need level 30 to unlock all 3 zones for your profile. Anything after level 30 is for your e-penis in these threads.
